FAQ – FREE Volume or Commercial Recycling

We recycle many items for free but some items are costly to recycle therefore we have to charge a small fee. But if you have large quantities we will recycle them for free (see FAQ below for details).

In addition to our standard business recycling pickup in Portland Oregon, you can also count on JunkComputer for high volume recycling services.

JunkComputer’s operation is part of a planned resource recovery facility that includes high volume recycling and a processing division for high volume recycling needs. JunkComputer is pleased to announce solutions to address the growing need for large volume recycling of e-waste. The success of our recycling program depends directly upon the ease in transportation of the heavier and higher volume loads.

For companies or organizations with large volume recycling needs (100-plus items to recycle), JunkComputer Recycling will provide free pallet pickup, and an online status report of collection programs.  We extend our services to businesses, schools, churches, organizations and individuals. We can pick-up your items for a small fee.

The cost varies according to the distance that our truck has to travel to pick up your items. Unlike most other recyclers we do not charge for everything we receive, but only for those items that are costly to recycle and / or difficult to haul. No, we don’t charge for electronic recycling in small volume. All e-waste are recycled at no cost to you. If you do have a large amount of e-waste to recycle then there is a suggested recycling fee of $5 or more due to the increased cost of recycling. If your e-waste have enough value we will also waive the hard drive destruction fee and send you a check in the mail. 

Unlike other companies, we accept all electronics and electronic parts in any condition or age. We are not picky because we have the means to recycle all of the individual components. We take on the bigger task of taking sorting and recycling all of the material appropriately.

We are open for drop offs 6 days a week, no need to schedule online or make an appointment, just bring your items during regular business hours.

Yes, there will be somebody to help unload your e-waste and electronics. We have a forklift on site and loading docs for comercial trucks and trialers.
